PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor position registration supporting system which promotes time reduction and cost reduction related to initial setting.SOLUTION: A data generation system 100 comprises an input/output device 30 including a touch screen 33 equivalent to a display unit and an input unit, and an initial setting unit 45 equivalent to an extraction unit and a sensor information registration unit. The initial setting unit 45 is connected to a plurality of infrared sensors 10 installed in an activity space and for detecting a temperature distribution state of a target range via a network NW1 and a concentrator 20. The initial setting unit 45 extracts a specific sensor which detects a specific substance meeting prescribed temperature conditions. The touch screen 33 displays identification information of the extracted specific sensor. The initial setting unit 45 registers the identification information of the specific sensor in association with information related to an installation position of the specific sensor in the activity space, on the basis of the instruction input to the touch screen 33.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
