PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfactorily produce a wire harness provided with an exterior member.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for producing a wire harness 2 provided with: a wire bundle 10; and an exterior member 30. The method includes: the preparation of the one, being an exterior sheet 32 jointly having a cross-linked part 36 and non-cross-linked part 33, 34, in which the non-cross-linked parts 33, 34 compose both the side edge parts in the width direction of the sheet and the cross-linked part 36 composes an intermediate part; the winding of the exterior sheet 32 around the wire bundle; the forming of the exterior sheet 32 into a cylindrical body by superimposing the non-cross-linked parts 33, 34 each other so as to be deposited mutually; and the reduction of the cylindrical body by heating the cross-linked part 36 and shrinking the same to the width direction of the sheet.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
