PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust a stable time tensile force of a transmission belt.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a transmission belt includes: a cable conductor checking step of measuring a shrinkage stress in dry heating and/or intermediate time extensibility of a cable conductor; a material setting step of winding the cable conductor and an uncrosslinked rubber composition; and a vulcanization molding step of vulcanization molding to a cylindrical belt slab by heating and pressurizing the cable conductor and the uncrosslinked rubber composition. The setting of a manufacturing condition which affects a stable time tensile force of the transmission belt to be manufactured is changed based on the measured shrinkage stress in dry heating and/or intermediate time extensibility of the cable conductor. |
