PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water closet capable of stably discharging washing water supplied from a water supply source even in such an environment that the flowing water pressure is low, while reducing the size of the whole body.SOLUTION: A water closet 1 includes valve means 24, 26 for discharging/stopping washing water supplied from the water supply source into a water storage tank 18 or a toilet bowl body 2, and a pressure pump 20 as a rotation-reversible pump which includes a suction part 68 connected to the water storage tank, a rim side discharge part 70 connected to a rim water discharge part 14 of the toilet bowl body, a jet side discharge part 72 connected to a jet water discharge part 12 of the toilet bowl body, and an impeller. The pressure pump discharges the washing water from the water storage tank to the rim side discharge part when the impeller is rotated in one direction, and discharges the washing water from the water storage tank to the jet side discharge part or discharges the washing water from the water storage tank to both the rim side discharge part and the jet side discharge part when the impeller is rotated in the other direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
