The method includes identifying a serving cell quality threshold and measurement configuration information used for setting up measurement gap patterns; performing measurement of the at least one neighboring cell based on a serving cell quality measured by the UE, the serving cell quality threshold, and the measurement configuration information; and transmitting a measurement report based on the measurement. The measurement is performed in accordance with a plurality of measurement types, and the measurement gap patterns correspond to the plurality of measurement types. |
