摘要 The present disclosure discloses an on-chip optical network system, which includes a light source, an optical waveguide, a controller, an optical power divider, and a modulator; a lightwave emitted from the light source is transmitted to the optical power divider using the optical waveguide; the optical power divider is configured to obtain a lightwave, and transmit the obtained lightwave to the modulator; the controller is configured to calculate first optical power, and control the optical power divider to obtain a lightwave whose optical power is the first optical power; and the first optical power is a sum of optical power required by the modulator and a first optical power loss generated during lightwave transmission between the optical power divider and the modulator. The system implements allocation of optical power on demand; therefore, cases of excessive optical power obtained by the modulator are reduced.
