PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing high-quality paper with high manufacturing efficiency.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing paper includes the steps of measuring a plurality of water quality parameters in a water system of paper manufacturing system 10 for papermaking from paper raw material in parallel with the operation of the paper manufacturing system 10, and processing water based on the measured data. Preferably the water quality parameters are selected from the group consisting of oxidation reduction potential, glucose content, organic acid content, pH, calcium ion content, electric conductivity, turbidity, cation requirement, temperature, degree of foaming, COD, BOD, dissolved oxygen content, starch content, residual chlorine content, and respiration rate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
