PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical device including a light guide member and an optical element that are positioned highly accurately and achieving desired optical characteristics.SOLUTION: An optical device 10 comprises a light guide member such as an optical fiber 21 for guiding light, an optical element 41 functioning by being irradiated with light guided by the optical fiber 21, and a holding member 61. The holding member 61 includes, within the holding member 61: a first storage part 63 storing one end 23 of the optical fiber 21; and a second storage part 65 storing the optical element 41. The holding member 61 directly holds, within the holding member 61, the optical fiber 21 and the optical element 41 by the first storage part 63 and the second storage part 65. The first storage part 63 and the second storage part 65 communicate to each other within the holding member 61. The optical fiber 21 stored in the first storage part 63 and the optical element 41 stored in the second storage part 65 come into direct contact with each other within the holding member 61.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
