PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust muffler device for a saddle riding type vehicle, where an exhaust pipe supported inside a muffler body in a cantilevered state is slidably supported at its free end, and which improves its durability by suppressing the vibration of the exhaust pipe at its free end and preventing the concentration of a vibration load on a welded position of a slide holding member.SOLUTION: The exhaust muffler device for the saddle riding type vehicle includes a first exhaust pipe 51 arranged in a muffler body 31 and supported at its plurality of support positions, a second exhaust pipe 52 arranged approximately in parallel with the first exhaust pipe 51 and supported in a cantilevered state, and a slide holding member 60 slidably holding the second exhaust pipe 52, the slide holding member 60 being welded to the first exhaust pipe 51 between the support positions and including an insertion-through part 62 having an insertion-through hole 66 through which the second exhaust pipe 52 is inserted, the insertion-through part 62 including a fist insertion-through portion 63 having a first insertion-through hole 67, a second insertion-through portion 64 arranged offset with respect to the first insertion-through hole 67 in the axial direction of the second exhaust pipe 52 and having a second insertion-through hole 68, and a connection portion 65 connecting the first insertion-through portion 63 and the second insertion-through portion 64.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
