PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of forming a high quality pattern on a web-like base material.SOLUTION: A printer 100 comprises: a delivery roller 123 which delivers a base material 1; a suction roller 125 which conveys the base material 1 delivered from the delivery roller 123 while holding it; a stage 113 which is arranged between the delivery roller 123 and the suction roller 125 to support the base material 1 with the upper surface; a suction pump 128 which causes the upper surface of the stage 124 to hold the base material 1; a register adjustment unit 114 which adjusts the position of the stage 113; and a control unit 140 which controls the delivery roller 123 and the suction roller 125 so as to relax the tensile force of the base material 1 between the stage 113, the delivery roller 123, and the suction roller 125 after controlling the suction pump 128 so as to cause the stage 113 to hold the base material 1, and then controls the register adjustment unit 114 so as to adjust the position of the stage 113.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
