摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sludge treatment system that can highly efficiently treat a biological sludge.SOLUTION: A sludge treatment system according to an embodiment has a first biocatalyst culture tank, a first decomposition tank, a second biocatalyst culture tank, a second decomposition tank, and a digestion tank. The first biocatalyst culture tank cultures a first biocatalyst. The first decomposition tank decomposes the viscous material contained in a biological sludge by the first biocatalyst. The second biocatalyst culture tank cultures a second biocatalyst. The second decomposition tank decomposes microorganisms in the biological sludge by the second biocatalyst. The digestion tank anaerobic-digestion treats the biological sludge treated in the second decomposition tank, and converts to a biogas. The first biocatalyst is a catalyst for decomposing the constituent of a viscous material contained in a biological sludge, exhibited on the cell surface of a host organism. The second biocatalyst is a catalyst for decomposing the constituent of a microorganism in a biological sludge, exhibited on the cell surface of a host organism.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
