A user perception estimation method and apparatus. The method comprises acquiring data generated by user network-accessing; recognizing terminal information and video service information from the acquired data; determining a video index estimation standard according to the recognized terminal information, and calculating a video index according to the recognized terminal information and video service information; and using the calculated video index and the determined video index estimation standard to acquire a video perception estimation result.
