To obtain a bearing device (1) in which old grease adhering to the upper part inside a bearing cover (4) can easily be discharged without removing the bearing cover (4). This bearing device is provided with: a bearing (6) secured to a bearing stand (2), the bearing (6) rotatably supporting a rotating shaft (3) of an electric motor; a bearing cover (4) for accommodating the bearing (6), a discharge port (9) for lubricant applied to the bearing (6) being formed in the bottom part of the bearing cover (4), and communicating with an internal space (4b) in which the lubricant is sealed; and a lubricant discharge member (10) having a main body (10a) that can move higher than the discharge port (9) within the bearing cover (4), and an operating part (10b) that is formed continuously with the main body (10a), the operating part (10b) protruding out of the bearing cover (4), and vibration being imparted to the main body (10a) when the operating part (10b) operates.
