Provided are: an automated teller machine capable of reducing the burden on an operator caused by an inspection operation; an automated teller system; and a counting method therefor. On the basis of information obtained by an identification unit, the present invention records unreadable-bill appearance information when an unreadable bill appears and automated inspection results history, and creates unreadable bill list information for unreadable bills appearing from the last automated inspection until the current automated inspection, on the basis of the unreadable-bill appearance information, the reject cassette verified-portion balance, and the deposit/withdrawal cassette balance at said timing, relative to the counting processing results. |
