PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a line monitoring apparatus or the like, configured to monitor more devices with a small number of server devices.SOLUTION: A line monitoring server 100 includes: a device information storage section 140 which stores information on a device to be monitored; a receiving result information storage section 150 which stores a result received from the device, in association with the device; a transmission section 110 which transmits monitor request packets, at least once, to a plurality of devices to be monitored, allocated to the server, in a predetermined monitoring period, on the basis of the information stored in the device information storage section 140; a receiving section 120 which receives and acquires the monitor request packets transmitted to the devices at timings independent of the operation of the transmission section 110, to update the result on receipt of the monitor response packets; and a monitoring section 130 which monitors the devices to be monitored, on the basis of the result stored in the receiving result information storage section 150.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
