A near-infrared ray absorbing microparticle dispersion solution is provided which is characterized by containing one or more solvents selected from vegetable oils or vegetable oil-derived compounds, 10-25 mass% of one or more types of near-infrared ray absorbing microparticles selected from composite tungsten oxides represented by MxWyOz or tungsten oxide compounds having a Magnéli phase represented by general formula WyOz, and a dispersant which is soluble in the solvent and includes a fatty acid in the structure, wherein the viscosity of the near-infrared ray absorbing microparticle dispersion solution is less than or equal to 180mPa*s.
