The present utility model relates to a method for the preparation of natural fiber-blended fabrics that have time-delayed release of scent and mosquitorepellent properties. The process modifies the fabrics by grafting with modified B-cyclodextrin and subsequently infusing with alcoholic solution of essential oil selected from ylang-ylang (Cananga odorata), lemon (Citrus limon), lavender (Lavandula angustifolia)or citronella (Cymbopogon nardus).
