<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To aim at both thinning and uniformalization of emission luminance of a plane light source device. <P>SOLUTION: Light from light sources 101 to 105 emitting point or linear light is made incident into a rear face of a lens array sheet 120 with a plurality of convex lenses arrayed at a given state on the surface. Then, the light irradiated from the surface of the lens array sheet 120 is made incident into a light guide plate 130 to carry out plane lighting with the irradiation light of the light guide plate 130. In such a structure, light from the light sources is diffused by action of the convex lenses of the lens array sheet 120 and the light guide plate 130 arranged on top of them. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
