PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of providing access from a client to an information page for a server system via a network, allowing a user access to a commercial service site using a telephone number. SOLUTION: The method includes the step of providing a telephone number to a client 601; the step of mapping the telephone number onto a desired page identifier using a translation database 604; the step of requesting the information as described by the desired page identifier from the server system 602; and the step of displaying the page identified by the desired page identifier on the client 601 side.
