<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the reliability of a self-seal function of an accumulator, and to improve the responsiveness of the accumulator. SOLUTION: In this accumulator, a pressure container having an opening of a flow passage communicated with the outside at one end thereof is divided into a high pressure chamber and a liquid chamber to be selectively communicated with the outside through the opening by an extension metal bellows sealed at the free end thereof. This accumulator has a valve seat member for surrounding the opening over the circumference thereof and a valve element to be tightly brought in contact with the valve seat member with extension and shrinkage of the metal bellows. One of the valve seat member and the valve element is formed of an elastic material easy to be elastically deformed, and the other thereof is formed of an annular spring material for surrounding the opening in the sealing condition and for elastically energizing the valve element in a separating direction. With this structure, tight fitting of the valve seat member to the valve element, namely, sealing ability is improved and while the valve seat member and the valve element can be easily separated. Reliability of a seal function is thereby secured, and the operating responsiveness of the accumulator is improved.</p> |
