PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dubbing device performing a dubbing operation without waste of time. SOLUTION: At the time of high speed dubbing CD1n, a control part 7A makes identification information generated from TOC information correspond to lapse time from time when previous high speed dubbing is started and registers them in an incorporated memory 8A. When an instruction for dubbing the whole tunes of CD1a at high speed in recordable MD3a in recording order is given, the registration content of the incorporated memory 8A is checked by using identification information generated from TOC information of CD1a. The same CD is previously dubbed at high speed. When it is before 74 minutes elapses since previous high speed dubbing has started, a CD reproduction part 2A and an MD recording part 4A are controlled and first several tunes among the whole tunes of CD1a are dubbed at a prescribed speed. When the dubbing of the prescribed tune is terminated, the remaining tunes are dubbed at high speed at prescribed speed if 74 minutes elapses since previous high speed dubbing has started when the dubbing of the prescribed tune is terminated. |
