PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backlight module and its digital programmable control circuit in which a circuit is not necessitated to be modified to a great extent if a backlight module or a lamp circuit is changed. SOLUTION: The digital programmable control circuit 3 is used for controlling a lamp circuit 4 and is provided with a memory unit 31, a processing unit 32 and a pulse-width modulation unit 33. The memory unit 31 accommodates a plurality of lamp parameters Ref. The processing unit 32 is electrically connected with the memory unit 31 to read the lamp parameters Ref. The pulse-width modulation unit 33 is electrically connected with the processing unit 32. The processing unit 32, based on the lamp parameters Ref, controls the pulse-width modulation unit 33 and generates a pulse-width modulation signal S<SB>PWM</SB>and the lamp circuit 4 is controlled thereby.
