PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communicating apparatus, communicating apparatus control method and communicating apparatus control program which enable a terminal with unknown network information to be connected to the communicating apparatus so as to efficiently perform communications. SOLUTION: The communicating apparatus 102 for relaying a data communication between a first network and a second network, includes a packet receiving means 202 having an interface for a first network connection and serving to receive a packet from a terminal connected to the first network, and a target storage means 205 serving to store received packet information. If the received packet is from an unknown terminal, a plurality of following packets from the relevant terminal are stored in the target storage means 205 and based on stored packet contents, a default gateway IP address of the relevant terminal is determined.
