PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrict a rise of refrigerant pressure within a cycle without using a spare tank at the stop of cycle operation. SOLUTION: The vehicular supercritical refrigerating cycle comprises a compressor 10 for sucking a refrigerant to compress it, a radiator 12 for cooling the refrigerant discharged from the compressor 10, a pressure reducing means 13 for reducing the pressure of the refrigerant at the outlet side of the radiator 12, an evaporator 14 for evaporating the low-pressure refrigerant reduced in pressure by the pressure reducing means 13, and a vapor-liquid separator 15 arranged at the suction side of the compressor 10 to separate the vapor and liquid of the refrigerant flowed out of the evaporator 14. When the sum Vacc + Veva of the inner volume Vacc of the vapor-liquid separator 15 and the inner volume Veva of the evaporator 14 reaches a low-pressure side inner volume VL and a ratio Vacc/VL of the inner volume Vacc of the vapor-liquid separator 15 to the low-pressure side inner volume VL reaches a vapor-liquid separator inner volume ratio Racc, the vapor-liquid separator inner volume ratio Racc is set in a range of 0.18 or higher.
