PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend an opening in the fully opened state of shutter doors in the opening of a box body openable/closable with the shutter doors, to the maximum only when storing an article wider than the opening width. SOLUTION: This cabinet is constituted to open/close the front opening 3 of a box body 1 opened facing forward, with the laterally slidable shutter doors 7 storable in right and left door storage spaces 6 between outer side plates 4 disposed outside the box body 1, and inner side plates 5 disposed on the right and left of an article storage space 2 in the box body 1. The back face of a door stop slat 10 in the shutter door 7 is protrusively provided with a stopper member 18. The stopper member 18 normally functions as a door stop that abuts on the tip part 5a of the inner side plate 5, and when moved from the abutting position toward the non-abutting position, at least a part of the door stop slat 10 is storable within the door storage space 6.
