PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device capable of protecting an inner circuit from an internal power supply voltage when the internal power supply voltage generated by a voltage regulator becomes high.SOLUTION: A semiconductor device comprises: a voltage regulator 10 that generates an internal power supply voltage Vd on the basis of a power supply voltage VDD, and applies the internal power supply voltage Vd to a power supply line L; an inner circuit 20 that is supplied with the internal power supply voltage via the power supply line and a ground line L; and a protection circuit 30 that includes PNP-type first to N-th transistors that form Darlington connection, and in which each collector terminal of the first to N-th transistors is connected with the ground line, and an emitter terminal of a first transistor Q1 among the first to N-th transistors is connected with the power supply line, and a base terminal of the N-th transistor is connected with the ground line.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
