Title cpds. are of formula: Cl3C-CONR'R" (where R' = H, 1-10C alkyl, 3-6C cycloalkyl, 1-6C halogen-alkyl or alkoxyalkyl, 2-10C alkenyl, Ph, Bz, phenethyl, halogenalkyl, or nitrophenyl, 1-10C cyanoalkyl: R"=R' (except for cyanoalkyl) or where R3 and R4 = H or alkyl or together form a cycloalkyl ring or a polyalkylene ring which may be broken by an ether O atom). The cpds. also include 2,5-bis-CCl3-1,3,4-oxydiazole and NR'R" may form a pyrrolidine, piperidine or morpholine ring.
