1308317 Polymer compositions ENGLISH CLAYS LOVERING POCHIN & CO Ltd 22 May 1970 [30 May 1969] 27623/69 Heading C3P A polymer composition comprises 100 parts of a resin binder, a plasticizer and 400-600 parts of a filler of which at least 200 parts is a mixture of 25-80% of kaolinite and 75-20% of mica, particularly a micaceous china clay having less than 50% of its particles below 2 Á. Also in the filler may be quartz and felspar as constituents of china clay and limestone. A phthalate ester is used as plasticizer, and the resin is vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer. The composition is formed into floor tiles. |
