Diglycidylesters of formula (I) below where Z is a residue a is 1-10; b is 0-5; c is 1-30; are prepd. by converting, in a cpd. of formula (II) below where X are residues which can be converted into 1,2-epoxyethyl- or 1-methyl-1,2-epoxyethyl residues, into such 1,2-epoxyethyl- or 1-methyl-1,2-epoxyethyl residues. Introduction of title cpds. into hardenable moulding, coating or adhesive compsns. based on epoxy resins renders then flexible even at relatively low temps. |
