PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of preventing unnatural guide even when the position of an area as the guide object is erroneous registered.SOLUTION: The area guide system include: a speed limit area acquisition section that acquires a position of a speed limit area based on a piece of map information; a reliability determination section that determines the reliability of the map information indicating the road is positioned in the speed limit area according to the behavior of a vehicle traveling on the road included in the speed limit area which is represented by the map information; and a guide section that provides a guide relevant to the speed limit area according to the reliability.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
