PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piercing apparatus for preventing burrs from being bitten between fixing means and a pierce, and to provide a piercing method.SOLUTION: There is provided a piercing apparatus 1 which has fixing means 10 for fixing a heated thermoplastic resin panel 50, a pierce 20 which is pressed against a first surface 51 of the thermoplastic resin panel 50 and penetrates through the thermoplastic resin panel 50, and burr crushing means 30 which is pressed against a second surface 52 of the thermoplastic resin panel 50 and crushes a burr 60 occurring in the thermoplastic resin panel 50, where the fixing means 10 is provided at a position separated from a projection 21 of the pierce 20 projecting from the second surface 52 by penetration, and the burr crushing means 30 moves along the projection 21 and crushes the burr 60 after penetration of the pierce 20 and before solidification of the thermoplastic resin panel 50.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
