<p>1283496 Cyclohexanone oxime STAMICARBON NV 30 Nov 1970 [6 Dec 1969] 56740/70 Heading C2C The invention comprises a recycle process for the production of cyclohexanone oxime in which a buffered aqueous reaction medium with an acid reaction which contains nitrate ions and phosphoric acid and/or bisulphate, is recycled between a hydroxylamine synthesis zone and a cyclohexanone oxime synthesis zone, and in the hydroxylamine synthesis zone nitrate ions are catalytically reduced with molecular hydrogen in the presence of a palladium catalyst; wherein the recycle liquid before entering the hydroxylamine synthesis zone is heated to a temperature such that the total proportion of cyclohexanone and cyclohexanone oxime contaminants in the recycle liquid is reduced.</p> |
