1335945 Flavonyloxyalkyl piperazine compounds BOEHRINGER MANNHEIM GmbH 11 May 1972 [14 May 1971] 22069/72 Heading C2C Novel compounds of the Formula (I) where R is an unsubstituted or substituted phenyl or benzyl radical, the substituents, when present, being halogen atoms or C 1-5 alkyl or C 1-5 alkoxy radicals, and n is 1, 2 or 3, and the pharmacologically compatible salts thereof, may be obtained by (a) condensation of a compound of the Formula (II) where X is a halogen atom, with 7-hydroxyflavone; or (b) condensation of compounds of the Formula (III) with compounds of the Formula (IV) or (c) condensation of compounds of the Formula (V) with a compound of the formula X-R and R is unsubstituted or substituted benzyl; or (d) condensation of compounds of the Formula (VI) with a compound of the formula H 2 N-R, and thereafter, if desired, converting the products into their physiologically compatible salts. Pharmaceutical compositions having antiinflammatory and anti-allergic action comprise compounds of Formula (I) above together with a solid or liquid pharmaceutical diluent or carrier, preferably in the form of tablets or dragees or suspended or dissolved in oil or water. |
