A pair of extensions attachable to the conventional brackets that are used to support a window shade along the top of a window, the extensions hanging downward and the lower ends being adaptable to support the window shades at a lower elevation, so that the upper portion of the window area is not blocked by the shade, thus allowing air to circulate from the out-of-doors and into the room when the upper window sash is lowered.
