<p>Electrical discharge generator has two electrodes, each having a conductive plate covered by a dielectric. The electrodes are arranged parallel and have a voltage source connected across them of a valve between those required for arcing between the uncovered and the covered plates. Pref. each conductive plate is covered on both sides by larger dielectric plates and the plates are spaced apart in a stack over which air is blown. A transformer is connected across the plates. Suitable dielectrics include high-alumina ceramic PTFE, polypropylene, polyethylene terephthalate, etc.</p> |
