The halohydrocarbon may be methylene chloride, chloroform, carbon tetrachloride or hexachloroethane. The encapsulating material may be selected from gum arabic, gelatin, ethylene-maleic acid copolymer, polyethylene imine and methyl cellulose. An animal feed containing the encapsulated halohydrocarbon also contains vitamins A and D. |
