<p>Compsn consists of (A) dieldrin, aldrin, eudrin, isodrin, mitin FE(RTM) chlordane, heptachlor or hept - chloroepoxide, as toxicant (B) a non-ionic emulsifier and (C) a resin derived from the monomers, prepolymers, comonomers and co-prepolymers selected from (1) acrylic and methacrylic polymers which contain >=1 N-lower alkylolamine gp. >=1 N-monoalkylamide or >=1 N-dialkylamide (2) reaction products of acrylic acid methacrylic acid with >=1 N-alkylolamines, (3) mixtures of (1) and (2); (4) polyvinylidene chloride, (5) Butadienestyrene, (6) polyamides formed from alkylpolyamines with epihalohydrins, (7) reaction product of a polyepoxide with a crosslinking agent, (8) versamides (RTM). The ratio of resin to toxin is in the range 2:1-10:1. The insecticidal properties are not removed by repeated washing, when the proteinaceous material is (e.g.) wool.</p> |
