Controlling blast flow rate - by injecting secondary gas at tuyere outlet end

In regulating the flow conditions of >=1 primary gas at the outlet section of a tuyere, >=1 secondary gas is injected, pref. perpendicular to the direction of the primary gas, close to the downstream end of the tuyere. The arrangement ensures that the flow rate of the blast at the tuyere outlet is held at a given value whatever amt. of fuel may be added to the blast.
