Stabilising aq emulsions of fatty materials - by addn of mucilaginous plants

Mucilaginous plants such as centaury, marshmallow, mallow, mullein, senna, alder buckthorn, borage, linseed, common confrey, asparagus, linden and Iceland moss are added to the emulsions. Applies to treatment e.g. of lanolin, tallow compsns, beef, mutton etc.
