Guide roll track section alignment - for a continuous casting machine

Guide roll track sections of a continuous casting mach. are connected and aligned by being located immediately below the mould. They confine the partially solidified casting as it emerges from the mould. The rolls are journalled in racks which are formed as individually removable sections. A number of downward pointing brackets are fixed to the bottom of the top section, and have sockets receiving protruding portions of the uppermost roll shaft of the bottom section.
