PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric/electrostrictive material, piezoelectric/electrostrictive material body and a resonance drive device, which are able to achieve low-temperature sinter and improve piezo-electric constant dand mechanical quality coefficient Qm.SOLUTION: A piezoelectric/electrostrictive material formed from step S101 to S105 contains Pb(Zn,Nb)O-Pb(Ni,Nb)O-Pb(Zr,Ti)Obased compound and Mn. The ratio of the mol number of Mn to the sum of the respective mol numbers of Ni, Zn, Ti, Zr, Nb, and Mn is 0.001 or higher but 0.015 or lower. The ratio of the mol number of Nb to the sum of the respective mol numbers of Ni and Zn is 2.007 or higher and 2.125 or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
