Stabilised enzyme detergent - contg an alkyl oxysulphate and/or an aryl sulphonate hydrotrope

Liquid detergent compsn. contains an aq. soln. of surface active agent (5-50 wt.% of 6-24C alkylbenzene sulphonate and/or amine oxide) and a washing enzyme, e.g. protease with a stabilising amt. (2-20%) of an alkyloxysulphate and/or an aryl sulphonate hydrotrope. The stabiliser maintains enzyme activity.
