A sanding apparatus is disclosed that includes a multi-panel thin-wall cabinet in the interior of which is formed a dust-settling chamber and the sides of which provide supporting structure for at least one enclosed sander assembly. An air passage is formed between the dust-settling chamber and the sander assembly so that exhaust air coupled to the dust-settling chamber will draw the sanding dust from the sander assembly into the settling chamber.
