1332063 Anti-skid systems E PARIZZI [trading as ELETTROMECCANICA PARIZZI] 13 Oct 1971 [21 Oct 1970] 47576/71 Heading G1N In an anti-skid system for controlling the braking on the individual wheels of a vehicle, each wheel carries a tachogenerator G 1 - G n Fig. 1 whose output signal is rectified at RD 2 - RD n and compared at CP with a reference signal derived from a capacitor C normally charged to the common speed signal determined by each tachogenerator, and provided with a discharge circuit through transistor TR corresponding to the maximum possible deceleration of the vehicle. When any speed signal is less than the voltage across C, the comparator CP allows current from a battery B to flow through the corresponding switch TG 1 - TG n , energizing a brake power reducer RF 1 - RF n for that wheel (or wheels). A similar circuit Fig.2, (not shown) temporarily limits driving force on each wheel which skids during acceleration. |
