<p>To ensure uniform density mouldings, premature localised foam formation is prevented by a uniform mixing of the polyurethane base material with the additives. The polyurethane is fed into the mixer container by trickling it over an outer horizontal flange on to the top of the inside wall of the mixer vessel into which the additives are dispensed separately. A scraper system for the bottom rim of the vessel against which a hinged base cover is seated is carried on the main stirrer shaft.</p> |
