<p>The sheets of treated papers are mechanically stacked together and moved on a belt to a loading plate, where the stack projects beyond its edges. Loading clamps grip the stack and move it into a permanently heated single-daylight press with stationary caulks. When the press opens after the curing cycle, suction pads lift out the laminates as a fresh stack is moved in. If the laminates require cooling under pressure, a separate pair of cooled platens is mounted below, both pairs of platens operating together. The hot unloaded laminates are moved by another similar loader into the cooling press.</p> |
