Concrete, metal, wood or polyester constructions or constructional parts, are waterproofed, protected against corrosion, and/or bonded together by treating with a mixt. of an epoxy resin and tar. >=1 of the applied layers contg. a filler consisting of a 1/1 mixt. of cement and talc. or of cement and talc and graphite. During the application of several layers to a wet surface, the first layer is diluted with 18-22% of a diluent, the second layer is diluted with 8-12% of a diluent, and the third layer is diluted with 2-6% of a diluent. During the application of a single layer, 2-6% of a diluent is used, and during the application to dry surfaces, the surface is wetted or washed with a mixt. of diluent/water in a ratio of 30/70 to 40/60.
