PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a location estimation technology that can quickly and correctly detect locations where workers are present when the workers move in a restricted space like an inside of a building.SOLUTION: A location estimation method is configured to: install, by a moving body holding a portable terminal having a reception circuit receiving a radio signal and a radio communication circuit wirelessly communicating with an inertia sensor provided and a plurality of transmitters capable of wirelessly transmitting address information, the transmitters at a location satisfying condition with the transmitters put into an active state as moving in a restricted space; compute, by a data processing device capable of wireless communication with the portable terminal, a location of the portable terminal having a start point preliminarily set as a start point on the basis of the address information on the transmitter from the portable terminal, reception electric wave intensity information thereon, and detection information on the inertia sensor as a reference; store the location of the portable transmitter at a point of time when initially receiving the address information from any of the plurality of transmitters as a set location of the transmitter; and create a map displayable on a screen of a display device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
