PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation device for improving the operability by suppressing the operation load charged when a displayed image is scrolled and a desired image is displayed.SOLUTION: An operation device 1 includes: a touch pad 2 for detecting a tracing operation applied to an operation area 10 to move or change an image displayed on a display unit of a device to be controlled as shown in FIG. 1(b); an intention estimation unit 3 for estimating an intention of an operator who intends to increase the travel amount of the image or the changing frequency of the image, on the basis of the tracing operation detected by the touch pad 2; and a control unit 4 for controlling the device to be controlled so as to make the travel amount of the image or the changing frequency of the image larger than those before the estimation, when the intention estimation unit 3 has estimated the existence of an intention of the operator.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
