Novel cpds. of formula (I):- (where R is H or lower alkyl opt. 2-substd. by OH, lower acyloxy or lower alkoxy; R1 and R2 are cycloalkyl (opt. substd. by OH or lower alkyl), lower hydroxyalkyl, alkoxyalkyl, alkoxycarbonyl or aminoalkyl (opt. mono- or disubstd. by lower alkyl or acyl), or one of R1 and R2 can be H or lower alkyl, or R1 and Ri together can form a 3-6C alkylene bridge interrupted by S and/or substd. by OH or alkyl, or together can form a dialkylsulphimino or dialkyl-sulphoximino gp.; and n = 0 or 1) and their salts, are prepd. by reacting a 3-(5-nitro-1-R-2-imidazolyl)-6-X-s-triazolo-(4,3-b)pyridazine (where X is a reactive gp.) with an amine or amine deriv., or by cyclising a cpd. of formula (II): (where Y is H, OH or NH2).
